The Grade 11 Functions (MCR3U) course delves into the mathematical concept of functions, expanding upon students' prior knowledge of linear and quadratic relations. Students will explore the properties of both discrete and continuous functions, including trigonometric and exponential functions. They will represent functions in various forms: numerically, algebraically, and graphically. Additionally, students will tackle problems involving real-world applications of functions, investigate inverse functions, and develop proficiency in identifying equivalent algebraic expressions. This course will enhance students' mathematical reasoning and communication skills as they navigate multi-step problem-solving.
